For college basketball fans, March is a month full of excitement and anticipation. Before the madness begins, the crew at Carter Express wanted to give our drivers some fun ways to stay updated on all the on-the-court action. Here are seven of the top radio stations and podcasts you should tune into during this year’s March Madness!

This year, the tournament begins on Sunday, March 17 with Sunday Selection, where the competing teams will be officially announced. The first tip-off happens only a few days later on Tuesday, March 19. From there, the games don’t stop until the NCAA championship game on April 8 where the final two teams will play for the title of 2024’s NCAA Champion. In 2024, keeping up with March Madness while on the road is as easy as turning up the volume in your cab. There’s a nearly endless supply of sports radio stations and podcasts who dedicate the month of March to reporting on the action.

Radio stations have been reporting on March Madness since the tournaments’ started dating back to 1939. CBS Sports Radio has been sharing coverage for 30 years, making them a well-established and trusted option for staying in the loop. Other reliable radio stations include ESPN Radio, SiriusXM, and Westwood One.

If you’re wanting to explore other ways of staying updated, podcasts are a great option. You don’t have to worry about lost signals due to dead zones or radio stations switching to different channels as you travel. Apple Podcasts hosts “March Madness 365 with Andy Katz” and “Madnessland” with Garrett Reaper, where the hypothesizing on this year’s champion has already begun! “The Old Man and the Three with JJ Redick and Tommy Alter” has also reported on March Madness in the past and, since Redick is a former NBA player, he offers insider insights!
